WiMAX Development in Asia May 2-8

- Taiwanese WiMAX carrier Global Mobile announced on May 5, 2011 that the company has formed partnership with Tatung InfoComm for channel distribution cooperation, according to the Economic Daily News of Taiwan. Global Mobile plans to purchase over 160,000 units of CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) and increase the number of its subscribers to 160,000 in 2011.
